Registration for each term occurs within designated periods. Within these periods, you will be assigned specific registration appointment times.
You may only register during assigned appointment times, which are available on Student Services Online. Your appointment times will be available on Student Services Online about two weeks prior to the registration period. Your appointment times are the same for web registration.
Some classes may be blocked for web registration because they require approval. Check the Directory of Classes to find out if you need instructor or departmental authorization for a class.
Depending on your school and program, you may need one or both of the following:
- Approval of your advisor
- Approval from the school/department and/or instructor offering the class
If you are not able to register via the web, you must visit the Registration Services at 141 Black Building to register in person. You must bring a completed Add/Drop form with appropriate signatures in order to register in person.
You will not be permitted to register if a hold has been placed on your student record. To find out if you have a registration hold, log in to Student Services On-Line and check your HOLD status.
You must be registered for at least one class prior to the first day of classes. Otherwise, you will be charged a late registration fee. As long as you have activated the term by registering for any class, you may add and drop throughout the Change-of-Program period without a fee.
